SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 12, 1998--Western Water Co. (NASDAQ:WWTR) today announced the following addition to its existing management team: Roger S. Faubel has been named Vice President, Director of Public Affairs for the company. Formerly, Faubel was Director of Field Operations -- Public Affairs of Southern California Edison Co. (AMEX:SCEq), the nation's second largest investor-owned electric utility. During his tenure at SCE, Faubel was responsible for activities in 176 cities and 14 counties. He organized the coalition-building efforts in support for AB1890, the landmark electric deregulation bill, which Governor Wilson signed into law in 1996 after unanimous votes from both the California Assembly and Senate. Faubel also served as deputy to SCE's president for water issues and was actively involved in supporting Proposition 204, the successful "Safe, Clean, Reliable Water Supply Act." Faubel is currently Vice Chairman of the Urban Water Institute and is an elected Director of the Santa Margarita Water District in Orange County. Peter L.
